Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper operation and maximum performance.
The manual contains information about functions, installation, safety and maintenance.
Important precautions

Remove the insulation tape from the battery before first use.

Only use a fully charged 18650 lithium-ion battery (3.7V) .

Remove the battery if the device will not be used for more than 10 days.

Avoid pointing the lens at strong light sources such as the sun, lasers or welding.

Store the product in a dry and ventilated place (−20°C to +50°C).
-
Keep lenses clean and free from oil, moisture and dust. Always use a lens cap during transport.

Use only original PARD chargers and cables.

Do not disassemble the unit. Contact PARD After-Sales Service in case of failure or repair.

Export: All PARD night vision and thermal imaging devices require an export license when exported outside the EU.

Product description and key features
NV008SP / NV008SP-LRF is a digital day/night sight designed for hunting and observation in all lighting conditions.
The device uses a CMOS 2688×1520 sensor , which delivers high image resolution in both daylight and darkness.
The integrated VLEA (Visible Light Enhancement Algorithm) significantly improves detail sharpness and contrast.
The NV008SP-LRF model includes a Laser Range Finder (LRF) with a range of up to 1200 meters as well as a Ballistic Calculator for precise distance and shot calculations.
The housing is made of robust aluminum, which provides 6000J recoil resistance and IP67 waterproofness.

Installation and setup
1. Battery mounting
-
Unscrew the battery cover counterclockwise.
-
Remove the insulating tape from the battery.
-
Insert the battery with the + pole facing inwards and screw the cover on.
-
Hold down the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.
-
The PARD logo appears on the screen.
Note: Use only original batteries. Avoid moisture, high temperatures and shock.
2. Mounting on weapons
-
Attach the mounting ring to the weapon's Picatinny/Weaver rail .
-
Tighten the screws with the provided Allen keys.
-
Adjust the sight position for correct eye relief (35mm).
-
Check that the image is centered in the display.
3. Focusing
-
Turn the diopter ring until text and symbols appear clearly.
-
Then turn the focus ring until the image of the target is sharp.
4. Calibrating the E-compass
Move the device in a “figure 8” motion until the compass is calibrated.
5. Zeroing (insertion)

Set up the target board at the desired distance.
-
Press [Key 4] to open the menu → select Zeroing .
-
Shoot and adjust X/Y via the control keys.
-
Move the crosshair to the shot point and save the profile (A–E) under “Save:Y”.

Menu overview

Display Brightness – Adjust the screen brightness (level 1–7).

IR Brightness – Select IR level (1–3).

Scene Mode – Select City , Rain or Forest .

Ballistic Calculator – Automatically calculate POI (Point of Impact) based on ammunition and distance.

Gyroscope / E-Compass – Shows inclination and direction.

Auto Recording – Records automatically upon recoil.
-
Loop Recording – Continuous video in clips of 1–10 min.

Record Audio – Turn audio recording on/off.
-
WiFi – Enable wireless connection via PardVision2 .

Language – Select menu language.

Date/Time – Set the time format and date.

Format SD – Erase all content on the SD card.

Default Setting – Restore factory settings.

Version Info – Displays software version.
WiFi and PardVision2 App

Download the PardVision2 App from the App Store or Google Play.
-
Enable WiFi on both the device and your smartphone.
-
Find the network “PARD_xxxxxx” and use the password 12345678 .
-
Open the app for live viewing, file transfer and control.
Ballistic Calculator (LRF version only)

Activate Ballistic Mode in the menu.
-
Set bullet weight, speed, aiming height and environmental parameters.
-
Use LRF to measure distance to the target.
-
The device automatically calculates POI and adjusts the crosshairs in real time.
PIP (Picture-in-Picture)
Activated via menu or double-pressing Key 4 .
Displays a magnified 2× image at the top of the screen for precise aiming.
Recoil-activated Recording
When this feature is turned on, video recording automatically starts upon recoil and is saved to the SD card.
Maintenance

Clean lenses with a microfiber cloth.
-
Avoid moisture, dust and direct sunlight.
-
Always store the device in its case when not in use.
-
Charge the battery regularly, but avoid overcharging.
-
Use only original PARD cables and chargers.
-
Contact support in case of errors – never open the device yourself.
