Introduction
Please read this user manual carefully before using the device to ensure correct and safe use. The manual describes step-by-step how to use and maintain your night vision equipment.
Important precautions

Remove the insulation tape from the battery before using the device for the first time. Use a fully charged 18650 lithium-ion battery (3.7V) .

Turn off the device and remove the battery if it will not be used for more than 10 days.

Keep the device and battery dry and safe.

Handle the device with care, especially during transport. Use the original packaging if possible.

Never point the lens directly at strong light sources such as the sun or welding — this can damage the sensor.

Avoid scratches and oil residue on the lens, and always use a lens cap when the device is not in use.

Store the product in a cool, dry and ventilated environment (-20°C to +50°C), away from electromagnetic fields.

Never attempt to disassemble the device without authorization. Contact PARD After-Sales Service in case of problems.

All PARD night vision and thermal imaging devices require an export permit when exported outside Denmark.

Product description and key features
The FD1-LRF is a compact, lightweight and multifunctional digital night vision clip-on that can be mounted directly in front of your existing binoculars.
The highly sensitive CMOS sensor allows hunters to significantly extend their hunting time at dusk and in the dark.
The device can be used as a clip-on, handheld monocular or standalone sight .
With the built-in 1200yd LRF (Laser Range Finder), you can measure distances accurately and calculate shot trajectories via the Ballistic Calculator .
The housing is built in aluminum, has IP67 certification , 6000J recoil resistance , and is powered by a rechargeable 18650 battery , ensuring long operating time.

Installation
1. Unpacking
-
Check that all parts are present and undamaged.
-
Inspect lenses, buttons, and housing for any damage.
-
Contact support if parts are missing.
2. Battery installation and start-up

Unscrew the battery cover counterclockwise.
-
Remove the insulating tape from the battery.
-
Insert the battery with the + pole facing in and tighten the cover.
-
Turn on the device by holding the Power button for 3 seconds until the PARD logo appears.
Note:
-
Use only one 18650 battery (3.7V) .
-
Avoid heat, open flames and water when the battery cover is open.
-
Do not puncture, damage or overcharge the battery.
-
Only charge under supervision.
-
Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
3. Adapter installation
-
Take the adapter, gaskets and Allen keys out of the box.
-
Protect the binoculars' lens with 1-2 layers of tape.
-
Mount the clip-on eyepiece on the device.
-
Put the adapter on and secure with the pin and thumbnut.
-
Select the appropriate gasket according to the diameter of your scope, and tighten the adapter's locking arm when the image is centered in the scope.
4. Focusing
-
Diopter ring: Adjust until text and symbols on the screen are sharp.
-
Lens focus: Then adjust the focus ring until the target appears clear.
5. E-compass calibration
Move the device in a “figure-8” motion until the compass shows full calibration. This ensures accurate direction indications.
6. Zeroing (insertion)

Set up a disc at the desired insertion distance.
-
Press [Key 5] to open the menu, select Reticle Adjustment , and adjust the X and Y axes so that the crosshairs hit the target.

Save the profile under RTZ AE and select Save:Y to save the adjustment.

Note: The FD1 and FD1-LRF operate the same – the difference is that the LRF model has a built-in rangefinder.
Menu and functions (selection)

Display Brightness – Adjust brightness in 7 levels.

Ballistic Calculator – Calculates trajectory based on bullet weight, velocity and distance.

Range Unit – Choose between meters or yards.

Reticle Adjustment – Fine-tune X/Y for precise zeroing.

Gyroscope – Displays tilt and rotation; can be calibrated.

PIP (Picture-in-Picture) – Displays an enlarged image at the top of the screen.

Default Magnification – Select the default zoom at startup.

Default Color – Select color or black and white mode.
-
IR Brightness – Adjust the brightness of the IR illuminator.

Recoil-activated Recording – Automatically starts video recording upon recoil.

Auto Power Off – Automatically turn off after selected time interval.

Loop Recording – Continuous video recording in 1-10 minute clips.

Record Audio – Turn audio recording on/off.

WiFi – Connect to PardVision app (code: 12345678).

Date/Time & Language – Set the time, date and menu language.

Format SD – Erase all content on SD card.

Default Setting – Restore factory settings.

Maintenance

Always use the lens cap during transport.
-
Clean lenses carefully with a microfiber cloth.
-
Avoid moisture, extreme temperatures and dust.

Use only original chargers and cables.
-
Contact Nieload support in case of errors – never open the device yourself.
