Introduction

The Landsat Mini series is designed for hunters and professional users who need a robust, lightweight and accurate thermal sight for both day and night operations.
Please read this manual carefully before using the product to ensure proper setup and maximum performance.


Important precautions

  • Remove the insulation tape from the battery before first use.

  • Only use a fully charged 18650 Li-ion battery (3.7V) .

  • Remove the battery if the device will not be used for more than 10 days.

  • Avoid direct sunlight on the lens — it can damage the sensor.

  • Store the product in a dry and ventilated place (−20°C to +55°C).

  • Avoid moisture, dust and extreme temperatures.

  • Use only original PARD chargers and cables.

  • Do not disassemble the unit – contact PARD After-Sales Service in case of failure.

  • Export of PARD thermal imaging devices requires a license.

Landsat 256 Mini uses a highly sensitive 256×192 VOx sensor with NETD ≤35mK , which provides clear and detailed thermal images in all weather conditions – fog, rain or darkness.
The device is designed to be compact, lightweight (under 350g) and easy to operate, even with gloves on.

The built-in LRF (Laser Range Finder) and Ballistic Calculator provide precise distance measurements and automatic aiming point adjustment.
With the PardVision2 App you can transfer images and recordings wirelessly to your smartphone.

Installation and setup

1. Battery mounting

  1. Unscrew the battery cover counterclockwise.

  2. Remove the insulation tape.

  3. Insert the battery with the + pole facing inwards .

  4. Tighten the cover and press Power for 3 seconds to turn on.

  5. The PARD logo appears on the screen.

Note: Use only original batteries. Overcharging may damage the device.


2. Assembly

  1. Mount the sight on the weapon's Picatinny/Weaver rail .

  2. Adjust eye distance for comfortable viewing.

  3. Tighten the screws with the included Allen key.

  4. Check that the sieve is secure and stable.


3. Focusing

  • Use the diopter ring to sharpen text and symbols.

  • Adjust the focus ring on the lens to bring the target into focus.

Color palettes

  • White Hot – standard thermal display

  • Black Hot – inverted heat contrast

  • Red Hot – highlights hot targets in red

  • Edge Detection – contour display for quick identification

  • Iron Red – high contrast with warm hue


Menu overview

  1. Display Brightness – Adjust brightness (1–7).

  2. Contrast / Sharpness – Fine-tune image details.

  3. LRF Mode – Enable distance measurement (LRF version).

  4. Ballistic Calculator – Set ammunition and shot profile.

  5. Hot Track – Automatically follow the hottest point in the image.

  6. Scene ModeCity , Rain , Forest .

  7. WiFi – Connect via PardVision2 App .

  8. Loop Recording – 3–10 min segments.

  9. Date/Time & Language – Set system information.

  10. Format SD – Delete all files on the SD card.

  11. Default Settings – Restore factory settings.


WiFi and PardVision2

  1. Download the PardVision2 App from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Enable WiFi on the device.

  3. Find the network “PARD_xxxxxx” and use the password 12345678 .

  4. Open the app for live viewing, recording, or file transfer.


Ballistic Calculator

  1. Enable in the menu under Ballistic Settings .

  2. Set bullet weight, exit velocity, aiming height, temperature and pressure.

  3. Use LRF for distance measurement.

  4. The device automatically adjusts the POI (Point of Impact) for precision shots.


Maintenance

  • Use lens cap during transport.

  • Clean lenses with a microfiber cloth.

  • Avoid moisture and extreme temperatures.

  • Charge the battery regularly, but avoid overcharging.

  • Contact Nieload support in case of errors or defects – never open the device yourself.
