These .22 Slugs - 25.5 grain, .217" are designed for lower power setups or shorter range shooting where long range is not the goal. They are ideal when rifle power levels are limited or when shorter shooting distances are desired. With a Ballistic Coefficient (BC) approaching almost double that of most airgun projectiles, you get better external ballistics and terminal performance compared to regular pellets. The projectiles are manufactured and tested to perform between 600 fps – 1000 fps. The BC is around .082 (depending on slug, velocity and environmental conditions) making them an excellent choice for lower power, short range hunting of smaller game where rapid expansion and fragmentation are desired.
